Who can attend?

Adult over 18, there is no restriction associated with your place or residence.

 

How can I register?

All students must fill out a registration form, take an assessment test (CASAS) and then register in the Main Office, which is open daily from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Wednesday and from 7:30 am—7:00 pm on Thursday through Friday.  Students must register in person.  

 

Office Hours:

Monday- Wednesday 7:30 am - 7:00 pm 

Thursday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

 

CASAS Intake

Monday- Wednesday 7:30 am - 6:00 pm

Thursday- Friday 7:30 am - 3:00 pm

 

How much does it cost to attend the school?

There is no fee to register for our classes.  Some courses may require textbooks, lab or material fees. Books and other supplies can be purchased at our Main Office.  *Cash only

 

Do you offer High School Diploma and GED?

We offer GED Prep classes and we administer the GED test.  GED tests are administered at the Adult School and issued by Pearson Vue. We do not offer a High School Diploma.

 

What time of day do you offer your  classes?

Classes are offered at various times throughout the day from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm Monday through Thursday. 

 

How do I know which ESL classes to sign up for?

Students enter ESL by registering and taking a placement exam.  The student will then be advised of their level and which classes are available.  If no openings, students will be placed on a waiting list and notified when an opening occurs.

 

Do I need to speak with a counselor  before registering?

It is not necessary to speak to a counselor before registering; however a counselor is available to assist students with vocational and academic decisions.

 

Are you open during summer?

We do not have any programs that run in the summer time.

 

Where do I park?

You can park in any of the marked parking spots on campus.  All parking is FREE!
