Adult Basic Education (ABE)

Basic English class for Native English-speakers with limited literacy skills and for English as a Second Language (ESL) transition students. The course provides instruction for everyday life skills, GED preparation, college training and employment.

Attendance

Regular student attendance in class is required. Students will be dropped from the class if they do not attend within the first week or with excessive absences. Please notify your teacher if you will be absent for more than 2 consecutive days.

If you feel sick, please stay at home.

 

CASAS Testing

All students are required to take a CASAS assessment test administered at the Main Office. Test lasts approximately 1 hour. Students are required to take two to three exams a semester.
